Meditation In Chelsea, Michigan

Chelsea Meditation is dedicated to providing opportunities to learn and practice Insight Meditation.  At the heart of Insight Meditation is mindfulness, a simple and direct practice of moment-to-moment awareness of body/mind experiences.  Through this practice, we begin to live more skillfully by seeing clearly the nature of who we really are and to bring less stress and increased peace into our daily lives.

  

Insight or Vipassana meditation was developed by the Buddha over 2,500 years ago.  However, this meditation is not a religion, but a way to dissolve the barriers toward the full development of wisdom and compassion.  All spiritual and religious traditions can benefit from the skills and tools that naturally integrate into life and personal values.
